Day 01: Arrive Brisbane On to Brisbane
Welcome to your” Amazing Australia’ tour! On arrival in Brisbane, you will be met and transferred by our local representative to the fun city of Gold Coast. On arrival in the Gold Coast, check into your hotel. Later enjoy a tranquil evening on your own on the beautiful beach of the Gold Coast which is a blue water wonderland with clean, clear waters and golden sandy beaches
Day 02: In Gold Coast Visit Dreamworld
Enjoy a fun-filled day at Australia’s favorite family theme park, Dream World, which offers a variety of rides, shows and attractions. The highlights include wild (and curiously mild) Tiger Island where white, golden Bengal and Sumatran Tigers coexist peacefully with their handlers; without the constraints of cages; creating an exciting and unique experience for guests. Here the tigers play, wrestle and swim with a team of dedicated tiger handlers, in the specifically designed habitat of Tiger Island. Enjoy the Riverboat Cruise, Gold Rush Country, Koala and Kangaroo Sanctuary, with thrilling water slides and the Tower of Terror – the world’s tallest and fastest thrill ride ! Experience a new high with a ride on the ‘Wipe Out’ and the ‘The Giant Drop’ – the tallest free fall ride in the world. This evening you have the option of an exciting night out at the Australian Outback Spectacular show. This unique and exciting show captures the grandeur of the Australian Outback with spectacular visual effects and raw energy, all of its own. Day 03: In Gold Coast
An action packed day with your favorite super heroes like Superman, Batman and many more at Warner Bros. ‘Movie World’ , where movie magic comes alive every day with a kaleidoscope of behind-the-scenes action, comedy stunts, rides and shows. The park contains various movie-themed rides and attractions ranging from motion simulators to roller coasters and slow river rides. In addition, costumed character performers also patrol the park, allowing visitors the chance to take photos with them. Minor street shows including skits and singing performances are also present. The All-Star Parade showcases costumed characters alongside vehicles and moviethemed floats. There are also a number of actual active film studios within the Movie World complex. The all-new LOONEY TUNES Carousel is a wonderful carnival theme of colour and light, that is sure to entertain and delight the young ones, plus you can’t go past the SYLVESTER’S Bounce’n’Pounce. This new and exciting ride is a mini thrill ride just for kids ! Take an adventure to the next dimension at the new Shrek 4D Adventure. Experience the Superman Escape, a thrilling rollercoaster that propels you vertically upwards at 100km per hour. Warner Bros. Movieworld is an exciting adventure just waiting for you ! (Breakfast)
Day 04: In Gold Coast
Today, after breakfast visit Sea World, a whole world of amazing marine attractions, exciting rides, shows and attractions. The amazing Shark Bay is the world’s largest man-made lagoon system for sharks, that houses some of the most awe-inspiring of the species in an innovative exhibit now open at Sea World. Step back in time into the 1960s at Sea World’s new Waterski WipeOut, an energetic show set in the ‘Golden Era’ of Surfers Paradise. Do not miss the opportunity to meet Australia’s only Polar bear cubs in their home at Sea World’s Polar Bear Shores – one of the most advanced technological exhibits. There’s also the new generation of Sea World dolphins at Dolphin Cove and the thrills of Australia’s first triple loop Corkscrew rollercoaster. You will have the opportunity to witness plenty of action with the daredevil stunts of the international ski team or a trip into the mysterious world of the Bermuda Triangle – a great adventure ride. At Sea World you can take an enthralling optional Helicopter Ride. There is no better way to see the whole of the Gold Coast than from a helicopter that takes you over Surfers Paradise, past the towering hotels and condominiums. Day 05: Onto Cairns Kurunda Rainforest
Today, transfer to the airport for your flight to Cairns, famous for its natural beauty. On arrival proceed to visit the Kuranda Rainforest and its colourful market. Glide silently above the rainforest canopy aboard the Skyrail. Then visit Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park, which is a stunning theatrical interpretation of Aboriginal Culture from the beginning of time into the future. It showcases the culture of the rainforest people of Tropical North Queensland. The separate arenas allow visitors to experience every facet of the rainforest people’s culture – from the provocative History Theatre to the inspiring Creation Theatre, the original Dance Theatre and the interactive Cultural Village, where you can learn didgeridoo playing and boomerang throwing. Day 06: In Cairns
Begin your day early with an optional Hot Air Ballooning excursion, which offers unrivalled panoramic views of the unique Australian landscape. Imagine gently rising above the ground, hearing only nature itself and being propelled by the breeze. The view is spectacular ! The feeling is unique and breathtaking. Experience the wonder and romance of ballooning over such picturesque scenery. After the flight, enjoy a unique breakfast in the countryside of Cairns. Later in the morning, take the exciting Big Cat Great Barrier Reef Cruise to Green Island. Begin the excursion with a transfer to the Cairns pier and board a luxury sailing catamaran to the Green Island in the Great Barrier Reef. From the moment your catamaran moors in the calm waters of the island’s lagoon, a host of reef activities await you ! Enjoy the Semi Submarine ride, as you explore the underwater world of the reef in air-conditioned comfort on the ‘Yellow Sub’ without getting wet. Seated below water level you are treated to a diver’s view of the beautiful coral reef and marine life. You can opt for a wide array of activities like snorkeling, swimming, viewing coral from a glass bottom boat, or take an introductory scuba dive under expert supervision, all at an additional charge. Day 07: Onto Melbourne
The next part of your Aussie tour unfolds as you are transferred to the airport for your flight to Melbourne. On arrival in Melbourne you will be met and transferred by our local representative to your carefully chosen hotel and checked in. The evening is free to enjoy this Victorian city on Melbourne’s famous trams (at your own expense), a great way to explore the city and inner suburbs. (Breakfast)
Day 08: In Melbourne
This morning we travel to Ballarat and visit Sovereign Hill, a perfectly recreated 1850s gold mining settlement. Explore the shops and wander the main street to visit goldsmiths and craftsmen of another time. Journey through the town of Ballarat and see the Victorian architecture of a prosperous era. Cross the original route of the early horse drawn stage coaches. Try your luck panning for gold, visit the museum or ride a stage coach (at your own expense). Tour an underground gold mine or catch a ride in a traditional horse drawn carriage (at your own expense) or simply observe the working and living conditions that existed last century. Pass by and discover the turbulent story behind one of Australia’s most notorious incidents at the Eureka Stockade Centre in Ballarat. View Ballarat’s historic sites and beautiful Victorian architecture, a thriving monument to the town’s golden era of prosperity. Visit the Gold Museum. Enjoy browsing the unique period style stores along with real life characters and story re-enactments. After an unforgettable day, return to your hotel in Melbourne. (Breakfast)
Day 09: In Melbourne
Start the day with a guided panoramic city tour of Melbourne that takes you to Royal Botanical Garden, Town Hall, War Memorial, Fitzroy Gardens, Southbank Waterfront, Central CBD, St. Patrick’s Cathedral and Bourke Street Mall. Next we take you to visit the Melbourne Cricket Ground and Museum, an iconic Australian sports stadium located in Yarra Park in inner Melbourne, home to the Melbourne Cricket Club. It holds the world record for the highest light towers. Relive the story of Australian sports and view the world’s finest collection of sports related artifacts at Melbourne Cricket Ground’s National Sports Museum. You could then enjoy an optional visit to Eureka Skydeck 88. Reach for the sky, get an awe inspiring view of Melbourne from the Southern Hemisphere’s highest viewing platform – Eureka Skydeck 88. Here we treat you with the experience of ‘The Edge’ – a glass cube which projects 3 metres out from the building – with you in it – suspended almost 300 metres above the ground ! Late afternoon you have the option to visit the Phillip Island with Penguin Parade. The Penguin Parade is located on Phillip Island and the best time to visit is at sunset/dusk if you wish to see the actual “penguin parade”. This is when the penguins cross Summerland Beach to return to their sand-dune burrows. After a day fishing for food in the waters surrounding Phillip Island, the penguins make their way across Summerland Beach in groups. Experience this unique “parade” from environment friendly observation boardwalks and viewing stands. After a full day of enjoyment, return to your hotel late in the night. (Breakfast)
Day 10: On to Port Stephens
Today, transfer to the airport for your flight to Sydney. On arrival you will be driven to Port Stephens. Enroute, you will visit Hunter Valley region, treasured as the oldest wine country in Australia. Expect to see its rolling hills decorated with flourishing vineyards that seem to stretch forever. There’s something delightfully intoxicating about the history and tradition of wine making in the Hunter Valley that is evident when you walk through a cellar door during your Vineyard tour at any one of the many wineries in the region. After the vineyard tour, delicious western lunch will be served at an excellent restaurant with marvellous views. Located in the heart of the Hunter vineyards at the foothills of the Brokenback Ranges are the spectacular Hunter Valley Gardens. Spanning over 25 hectares, be amazed by the sensational sights, colours and fragrances of the twelve stunning feature gardens. Bask in a lavish array of colour and scent found in the Rose Garden, with more than eight thousand roses on display. Laze above the 10 metre waterfall and take in the superb views from the lookout or step back in time with all your favorite fairytale characters in the Storybook Garden. Then proceed to Port Stephens – the Dolphin capital of Australia. Day 11: Onto Sydney
Enjoy a hearty country style breakfast at your hotel. Check out and get transferred to the tourist hub of Nelson Bay, where you can enjoy some free time at Nelson Bay Marina. Witness the dolphins at their very best in the wild on the Dolphin Cruise. Enjoy commentary by dedicated naturalists as you sail amongst the port’s friendly dolphins. Soak in the boom net or ride above the dolphins in the bow net or just relax on one level deck that’s easy to walk and enjoy the breathtakingly scenic offshore islands. Get ready for the ultimate Beach and Dune Experience on a 4WD Ride ! Travel in modern comfortable 4wheel drive vehicles and encounter the largest shifting sand mass in the Southern Hemisphere; The Stockton Coastal Desert. Why not try sandboarding, a thrilling experience you won’t forget! Off to Sydney. This evening Cox and Kings has arranged a scintillating stage show for you. Day 12: In Sydney
After breakfast the day is free to explore this vibrant city on your own. We recommend an optional full day excursion to Blue Mountains. The bluish tinge that the range takes on when viewed from a distance gives it the name. The view of the magnificent Three Sisters, breathtaking canyon views, the brilliance of Mother Nature’s marvellous limestone caves is enthralling. The mountains truly come to life through the tales of your guide. Then visit Jenolan Caves, Australia’s most impressive limestone caves. The caves were created over millions of years through a complex relationship between water, rock, atmosphere and the life forms that inhabit the environment. The beauty of these caves is its maze of ancient limestone tunnels, subterranean rivers and caverns richly draped with exotic mineral deposits. The spectacular lighting of the caves will amaze you. For the strong hearted ones, we offer the optional ride on the JetCruiser – an exhilarating high speed adventure ride that takes you touring through the Sydney Harbour. Day 13: Leave Sydney
This morning proceed on a guided panoramic city tour which includes highlights like the Darling Harbour, one of the world’s greatest waterfront destinations. Experience a slice of the city’s history at the Rocks area, the busy CBD area, Hyde Park, Kings Cross, the world famous Opera House, the Harbour Bridge, Mrs. Macquarries Chair, Eastern suburbs, home to the city’s rich and famous and the world renowned Bondi beach. Visit the Sydney Centre Point (AMP) Tower which includes the 1000 ft giant minaret-topped spike for a glorious view of the magnificent Sydney cityscape. Then proceed on the Oz Trek Tour, a journey that excites the senses with its 180-degree cinema screens, sensational surround sound and heart-stopping real motion seating! This ensures that your virtual Australian tour is an absolute delight. Later, visit Sydney Aquarium and experience the diversity of Australia’s rich aquatic life in Sydney’s unique Aquarium with numerous exhibits like the Murray Cod, Seal Sanctuary, Saltwater Crocodile and many more.
