Day 01: Kathmandu
By Air:
Morning transfer to airport to catch your flight to Kathmandu – Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal and the Kathmandu Valley is the political and cultural heart of the Kingdom. Arrived at Kathmandu airport. Meet & great assistance at airport. Transfer to hotel, check-in at hotel. Evening free for own your own leisure. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu
Kathmandu is one of the three former medieval city-states in the Kathmandu Valley, along with Bhaktapur and Patan. After Breakfast Enjoy a morning sightseeing tour featuring key sights around the Kathmandu Valley; the Hindu Shrines at Pashupatinath on the Bagmati and the large Buddhist Stupa at Bodhnath, center of Tibetan Buddhist culture in Nepal.

PASHUPATINATH
The holiest of Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva the destroyer of the Hindu Trinity. Entrance is prohibited to all non-Hindus; you will be able to view the temple from the east bank of Bagmati River overlooking the cremation grounds.

BOUDHANATH
One of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world, Boudhanath is built around a plinth resembling the holy Mandala. It is famous for eyes painted in all four cardinal directions and supposed to represent the all seeing eyes of Lord Buddha, keeping an eye on human behavior and righteousness. The area is surrounded by monasteries and nicknamed “Little Tibet.”

Day 03: Kathmandu – Chitwan National park with Manakamana
After Breakfast, drive from Kathmandu to Chitwan National Park. Royal Chitwan National Park, and spend the next two days exploring one of the finest national parks in Asia, renowned for its diverse and dense wildlife. Its award winning eco-lodges allow the opportunity to observe animals in their natural habitat. After settling in to your timber-frame bungalows, depart for an afternoon of exploration. This afternoon, climb atop an elephant for a safari through the golden grasses in search of animals. The Royal Bengal tiger, leopard, Greater One-Horned rhinoceros, four kinds of deer, two species of monkey, two types of crocodile and 450 different birds all make their home in the park Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 04: Chitwan National park
After Breakfast Enjoy Jungle observation at Chitwan National park. The highlight being the Elephant Safari in the jungles. Other activities are Canoeing, Dugout canoe, Nature Walk and Bird Watching. Also experience walking through the forests with naturalists and watch the Native folk dances of the Terais. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 05: Chitwan – Pokhara
Morning after breakfast, drive from Chitwan National Park to Pokhara. Pokhara: One of the most picturesque spot of Nepal. The beauty of the valley is enhanced by its lovely lakes: Pehwa, Begnas and Rupa. Situated 200km west of Kathmandu. Situated at an al-level, Pokhara offers the magnificent views of Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhre, 5peaks of Annapurna and others. Pokhara’s numerous lakes, known as “Tal” in Nepali offer fishing, boating and swimming.
Arrived at Pokhara. Check-in at hotel. Free for own your own leisure overnight at the hotel.

Day 06: Pokhara
After breakfast get transferred to sightseeing tour of the old and new city of Pokhara, David’s fall, Seti gorge, Bindabasini temple and Tibetan Refugee Camp. In the evening enjoy an hour’s boat ride on the Pehwa lake. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 07: Pokhara to Kathmandu
After Breakfast get transferred to Kathmandu. Arrived Kathmandu check in into the hotel. Day is free at own your own leisure. You can Visit the many interesting sights, shrines and markets, Kathmandu’s fascinating Asan Tole Bazaar, Durbar Square, and the Kings Palace . Stay overnight at the Hotel.

Day 08: Kathmandu – Nagarkot – By Surface
After breakfast Kathmandu is yours to explore. By western standards the city is intimate. Visit the many interesting sights, shrines and markets or stroll in Kathmandu’s fascinating Asan Tole Bazaar. Don’t miss Durbar Square, Thamel or the Kings Palace.
Late afternoon get transfer to Nagarkot, An interesting trail takes us to the hill retreat of Nagarkot, perched on a ridge 32 km east of Kathmandu. It commands sweeping views of the Himalayas. Five of the world’s ten highest peaks, Everest, Lhotse, Choyu, Makalu and Manaslu are visible from here. Nagarkot is also a popular spot to watch sunrise and sunset. Later in the evening drive back to Kathmandu.

Day 09: Kathmandu – Departure
Free for own your own leisure till transfer to airport to catch flight for your onward journey.
